decades, Virgin Islanders and visitors alike have delighted in the
unique taste of St. Thomas island cuisine. A sip of maubi. A sweet
coconut tart, dumb bread and cheese for breakfast and, of course,
fry fish and Johnny cake for lunch or dinner.
While most local recipes are homegrown,
there have been a few "master chefs" who perfected the art of our
local taste sensations.
